Are You Eligible? Detailed Qualifications and Experience

APIIC is looking for highly qualified and experienced professionals. Please review the specific requirements for each post carefully.

1. Incubation Manager

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years.
• Essential Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Life Sciences / MBBS / First Class B.Tech or M.Sc in Life Sciences, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Biomedical, IT, or equivalent.
• Essential Experience:
  • With Ph.D.: 3 years of relevant experience.
  • With MBBS/M.Tech: 5 years of relevant experience.
  • With M.Sc/B.Tech: 8 years of relevant experience.(Note: The experience must be in a reputed scientific organization in the area of R&D, bio-incubation, or research management.)
• Desirable Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business management, intellectual property (IP) management, or project management is highly desirable.

2. Incubation Associate

• Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.
• Essential Qualifications & Experience (Option 1):
  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in any branch of Engineering/Technology OR B.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least 50% marks.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Entrepreneurship, Start-up activity, Innovation, or Project Management in a reputed institute or incubation center.
• Essential Qualifications & Experience (Option 2):
  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology AND a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least 50% marks.

Job Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing

These roles are dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a blend of technical expertise, managerial skills, and a proactive approach.

• Incubation Manager: You will be responsible for the overall operational management of the technology platforms. This includes creating SOPs, training staff, providing technical advice to innovators, troubleshooting instruments, and organizing training courses.
• Incubation Associate: You will be the driving force behind the incubator’s outreach and program execution. Your role will involve evaluating applicants, supporting start-ups, planning and executing events like hackathons and boot camps, managing marketing channels, and generating leads.
